Today we celebrate Christ the King. But what kind of king is He? The ruler from a throne—or the Crucified One?Jesus reigns not with power but with mercy. Not by force, but by surrender. Even in His dying breath, He welcomes the repentant thief into paradise.As disciples, we are called to imitate this King—laying down our lives in love and mercy. His kingdom is not of this world but it breaks into this world every time we love as He loved.
